London Conservatoires – interest and enthusiasm

Members of the faculties of the Royal College of Music and Guildhall School of Music and Drama have expressed their welcome to the London International Piano Symposium and their anticipation of an intriguing and challenging conference. LIPS is looking forward to meetings with all the UK’s leading centres of excellence in piano practice, to share their enthusiasm and forward-looking approach to techniques in this field.

Volunteers welcome

LIPS would be delighted to receive any offers of voluntary help from residents in the UK, either with administration before the event or with the smooth running of the event itself. Examples of volunteering opportunities at the event itself include ushering and programmes, meet and greet, welcome of guest participants, registration. LIPS hopes to be able to offer volunteers free attendance at part of the symposium. In advance of the symposium, roles still available include: social media work, communication with The Friends, and more. LIPS would hope to offer a gesture of thanks in the form of tickets to volunteers if possible.
